Aloo k Parathe (Potato Stuffed Bread)
It is stuffed bread north Indian dish which is very delicious in test and very easy and simple to cook.
Ingredients
For stuffing
Potato- 250gm (Boiled, peeled and gently mashed)Salt - 2 table spoon or as per taste
Onion- 2 medium size (finely chopped)
Green Chille - 3 Pc.(finely Chopped)
Turmeric Powder- 1 tea spoon
Ginger- 25gm. (finely Chopped)
Garlic- 3 to 4 Pc. (finelyChopped)
Coriander- 25 gm(washed and finely chopped)
Butter/Ghee- 150 gm ( for cooking)
For making Dough
Wheat flour- 400 gm.
Ajwain seed- 1 tea spoon
Water- 2 cup
Refine Oil- 1 tea spoon
Procedure
First you should prepare the dough, for this take wheat flour in a big ball and add Ajwain seeds, water and refine oil to it and mix it well but make the dough little tougher. You should check your dough that is it OK or need little water, for this you press this dough little by your finger if it left impression on it then your dough is OK. Now make equal lemon size balls from your prepared dough. and sprinkle little wheat flour on it and left it for 10 minutes.
Now prepare the stuff material for your paratha. For this take a Pan and heat it on gas stove on medium heat when it heated then add little olive oil. When oil becomes heat then add chopped onion, green chilies, ginger and garlic to it. Now mix it well and add turmeric powder,salt and chopped coriander leaves to it and mix it well. Now add your mashed potato to this mixture and let it to fry for about 2 to 3 minutes. Now your stuffing material is ready and take it aside.
Now on your kitchen board, sprinkle some wheat flour and roll balls one by one into a thick and small circle which you have prepared from your dough. Now add your stuffing material in the middle of this rolled circle and fold out all the edges inwards and insured that no filled stuff is exposed. Now sprinkle some wheat flour to it and rolled it again but very gently in a little circle but take care that no stuffing material should comes out.
Now heat a separate Pan or tawa on medium heat and put your rolled and stuffed circle which you have done earlier and cook it on both side by flipping it. Now add 1 tea spoon butter/ Ghee to it and you will see that color of paratha is turning to golden brown. Now your paratha is ready, take it aside on a plate.
